1 When did you first join Squidoo?
I joined Squidoo February 2008 and just had my 3rd. anniversary.
2. Who told you about Squidoo?
When I first decided to bring my artwork online for my new business, I did a search on how to promote your business. I came to this page that was entitled 50 Great Ways to promote your business and Squidoo was listed on there. I decided to join and wrote my first page called: Fairies, Fairies Everywhere. At that moment I was hand crafting these small “Inspirational Faeries”. Each was a one of a kind piece of art.
3. How many lenses so far?
At this very moment I have 232 Lenses showing. I recently deleted a few and in the three years I have been at Squidoo have deleted many. Now I wonder how many pages I have written, hmm..
4 What do you love most about Squidoo?
I actually love several things about Squidoo, I love being able to make a little extra cash by writing about things I really love and believe in. I also feel Squidoo is a great opportunity to promote your business or get your business seen better. I have never been a person who is a follower and have not really gotten as involved with the community as I could have. I am trying hard to work on that and since then have became close to several people and a little more involved in the community than I was in the beginning. I am serving my third term as SquidAngel which is my favorite program at Squidoo because I enjoy helping to encourage other lensmasters with their pages.
5. How has Squidoo changed your life SO FAR?
I believe it has helped me to gain a little more confidence in my writing and has helped me to break out of my shell as far as my artwork goes. I would hardly ever share my writing or art with many people because I did not want it to be criticized. Writing and Art is very personal to me and to other artist. When my poetry is read, chances are the feelings and emotions behind the words will not be acknowledged for what it is really saying. But being in a community with other writers and artist chances are better that it could be seen, if that makes sense. I believe writers and artist are unique and each know what they want to the world to see through their writing or art, and many times that is the acknowledgement I get here at Squidoo.
6. Do you think a person can earn a fulltime living on Squidoo?
I am going to be very honest here and say yes I think they could. However, I do not believe everybody can. My earnings at Squidoo is like a roller-coaster ride, and I have yet to figure out any kind of system that works for me personally. I know I there has to be a system or something because I see many of the same people on the top 100 list (s) all of the time. I believe one huge mistake I have made at Squidoo is narrowing my niche to a seasonal one. But with that being said, I have also been trying to set in another niche which I am not having any luck at all.
7. What are your top five lenses you want the world to know about?
Scariest Places This is not only a seasonal page but it is a reality page. Hauntings are not limited to just Halloween, unfortunately they happen everyday.
WhiteOak’s Zazzle Art is my passion, and although I place my art on SEVERAL sites, Zazzle is one of my favorites.
Spiritual Walk through Squidoo This is a page with all of my links to different spiritual related topics
Writing at Squidoo This is a combination of my other pages
Haunted Writings These are all of my haunted related pages
8 What Squidoo charities do you support?
I believe I donate something from all of my lenses: I give to Save the Children, Wildlife Federation, Humane Society, Squidoo Charity Fund and some others I cannot think of at the moment.

Squidoo Interview for ThomasC
1. When did you first join Squidoo?
I joined Squidoo on Jan. 30th 2008
2. Who told you about Squidoo?
I found Squidoo threw the Cafepress forums. My original start on the internet was making t-shirt designs and putting them on Cafepress to sell. Many Cafepress store owners were using Squidoo to promote their Cafepress stores. So naturally the Cafepress forums were always buzzing about some site called Squidoo!
3. How many lenses so far?
To be completely honest, I have lost track. I build and sell lenses on a daily basis. I like to brag that i have made over 3000 lenses to date. I currently have 10 niche accounts. Well 9 plus my main account, which is mostly a gallery of lenses either for sale or ones I might be working on for clients at the time.
4. What do you love most about Squidoo?
There are many things to love about Squidoo, but by far the most loved thing about Squidoo is it gives me the ability to stay home and work on stuff that i really enjoy working on. Squidoo has truly set me free from the 9-5 job scene. I was able to quit my full time job in October 2008 when I started my Professional Squidoo Services at http://www.SquidBuilders.com
5. How has Squidoo changed your life SO FAR?
Oh I answered this one above! One thing I haven’t learned how to do is read the full interview before answering questions! Squidoo allows me the freedom to work at something I love!
6. Do you think a person can earn a fulltime living on Squidoo?
Yes, I use Squidoo to earn a full time income. If you are trying for a full time income from lensrank money, it might be a hard traveled road! Even lensrank money and affiliate earnings is still a hard mountain to climb. But every page you own on Squidoo is another piece of property on the internet. There are ways to use those properties to earn money outside of Squidoo!
7. What are your top five lenses you want the world to know about?
Well I want the world to know about all of my lenses! But the lens I am most proud of I don’t even own anymore!
http://www.squidoo.com/bruce_lee_bio This lens was my baby for a couple of years. Someone came along and made an offer for it I just couldn’t refuse!
8. What Squidoo charities do you support?
I support each and every charity organization on Squidoo! They all have their place and needs for support. For my lenses, I do leave that up to Squidoo and the Squidoo Charity funds.

Learn Squidoo today written Interview – Joan Adams
1 When did you first join Squidoo? I joined Squidoo in October of 2007, but I did not really get active until a few months after that.
2. Who told you about Squidoo? I was in a Master Mind group at the time with Rob and Shelley Mills, Laura Whitelaw and Kate Loving Shenk. Rob insisted I needed to be writing on Squidoo, and I continued to ignore him – for months! Finally I followed his wise advice and found that he was 100% correct. I had found my on line home at last!
3. How many lenses so far? I have 288 lenses so far – and honestly wish I had twice that many!
4 What do you love most about Squidoo? The community makes Squidoo work for me. It’s a pleasant place to be. I don’t think I would have gotten so involved otherwise. Squidoo is home. I feel comfortable there.
5. How has Squidoo changed your life SO FAR? Yeah, I am finally making money online! And I have met so many interesting and wonderful people from around the world!
6. Do you think a person can earn a fulltime living on Squidoo? I certainly think it is possible. I am not there yet. But I am learning to write more effective lenses – and I think the new monster program keeps us all inspired.
a. Of course Legally Blind and Plays Golf – one of my first lenses – created about my husband and his positive attitude toward life despite being legally blind since the age of 42. http://www.squidoo.com/legally-blind-and-plays-golf
b. Facial Tic or Hemifacial Spasm was written about our daughter’s challenge with hemifacial spasm and her successful surgery. Kathy’s story needed to be told so that others would know there is help for this rare condition. The comments on that page make it worthwhile. So many have been led to the Hemifacial Spasm Association – and we are all thankful. Http://www.squidoo.com/hemifacialspasm
c. Daily Prayer and Meditation Guides was written for my children. The older I get- the more information I want to be sure they have when I am gone from this earthly life. This page provides them a record of my faith and the books that help me stay on track. http://www.squidoo.com/daily-prayer-and-meditation
d. In April of 2010, Kate (mukunda22)came to SC for our family reunion. We had such fun, and carried around a cardboard SquidLou who represented all our Squidoo friends. It was a time when our online lives joined our real world, as we were of course, with Nancy, aka Ohme, for the reunion and also met Pat aka Wednesdayself. http://www.squidoo.com/squidlou
e. and no list of favorite lenses of mine would be complete without including the one made by Mimi a few years ago as a complete surprise to me. Recently she gifted me that special lens, so that I can make sure our children have it in the years to come. What a treasure. What a joy. What a gift!
8 What Squidoo charities do you support? Lol There is no doubt about that one. I support Ohme’s Friends of the Park. I grew up in Pendleton, and that little park is an absolute delight! It was built by volunteers, one nail at a time. Our grandchildren loved it when they visited at reunion time. Earlier I had taken a friend and her children there, and they loved it too. Grownups and children enjoy the peaceful environment, the shady trees, and of course the fantastic playground. Nancy (ohme) and the other volunteers in Pendleton have done and continue to do an amazing job! I am so glad they are an official Squidoo charity now. http://www.squidoo.com/fotp
I especially love the video on http://www.squidoo.com/squidoo-steps-up-for-pendleton where the committee is thanking specific Squidoo lensmasters – and some of us have our own fence post there with our names on them! Such fun!

4 What do you love most about Squidoo?
At first I was happy to have a place to write about what I love for free and easy to use. Now I love I still those thing PLUS the freedom to be more creative on squidoo and the bonus of making some money too. I love the opportunities I have had to mentor others to give squidoo a try giving them goal of making a little extra cash at home. (I make it clear it is not a get rich scheme – but hard work to make your first $20 and then it gets easier)
5. How has Squidoo changed your life SO FAR?
I have become very squidoo lens aware. Every new animal I see on TV nature shows I make notes to make a lens. Everything I see becomes a possible lens topic. I am addicted & I need help

Only if you never sleep. Part-time living? yes - but fulltime? I have my doubts with the current tier pay structure. If you had lots of family helpers at home then maybe

I do believe that it is possible. I am not there yet but my income has gone up tremendously, especially in the past year.
7. What are your top five lenses you want the world to know about?
My favorite five lenses are:
http://www.squidoo.com/frogunitstudy Frog Unit Study: Hopping to Learn I believe it was the 3rd lens I ever wrote. It is way too long but has stayed in the top 100 for over 2. It is all about frogs and ways that you could use a frog theme to teach all areas of the curriculum in a fun, hands-on way.
http://www.squidoo.com/1780 Garner Rix and the Royalton Raid This lens is about research into Garner Rix’s life and lifetime. What was it like to live in Vermont in 1780 and what was Garner Rix’s life like? It offers hands-on activities to help children step back in time.
http://www.squidoo.com/counting Skip Count, Skip Count Count by 2′s is a lens of skip counting activities from 2 to 100. These fun math activities help children transition from counting to multiplication.
http://www.squidoo.com/teaching-cursive Penmanship: The Art of Teaching Cursive Offers dozens of fun, hands-on activities for practicing handwriting as well as a suggested sequence for teaching strokes. Now that schools have stopped teaching cursive, his lens will help parents and homeschoolers teach this much needed skill.
http://www.squidoo.com/evelyn Evelyn Saenz: Lensography of a Teacher is a directory of all the lenses, unit studies and awards I have received since joining Squidoo. From there it is easy to find teaching ideas on most any subject that will get kids involved in learning.
